SUMMARY:Designing and Building sites systematically with Pods: a hands-on WorkShop
DESCRIPTION:Although WordPress has a lot of complex capabilities\, many site builders never understand them because the fundamentals are so hard to learn. Reading the docs doesn’t help because the best way to learn the fundamentals is to learn by doing. \nSo\, in this workshop\, that is exactly what we will do. In this workshop\, we will get a taste of how these websites are planned and built by prototyping one together with Pods. \nSite builders who attend will walk away with the skills to start prototyping these sites. \nThis session is a continuation of one that was held a few months ago\, and which was very well received. Many of the attendees asked for the session to be a regular one\, and we now have the ability to hold it regularly. \nPlease be sure to bring a laptop which can connect to wifi so you can do the hands-on work. \nPast Comments on this session: \nDeepti is a natural teacher with some great analogies. \nAbout the speaker: \nDeepti is a full stack developer at Crowd Favorite. During her career\, she has implemented many advanced CMS features for large high traffic sites\, as well as smaller sites. \nIn doing these implementations\, she discovered that the biggest obstacle wasn’t a technical challenge but a knowledge challenge. \nShe’s now committed to bridging this gap by providing everyone with the jargon-free\, conceptual knowledge to implement these solutions effectively.
